Location: The log cabin is located 200 km west of Whitehorse, at the base of the Saint Elias Mountains. Nestled among Spruce and
poplar trees, the cabin sits right across from "King's Throne" at  Kluane National Park, with open meadows in the back and
old trapper trails branching off from there.  The next village is Haines Junction, 30 km away. Here you find facilities like gas stations,  General store, restaurants and more. There is road access to the cabin.
Kathleen Lake in Kluane National Park is just a 20 minute walk; away. This is a good starting point for several different day
hikes. There is also a number of bigger and smaller lakes in the vicinity like Dezadeash Lake, Lower Kathleen Lake and Rainbow Lake.
Set Up: The cabin comfortably sleeps 4 people ( max 5). There is a fold out futon bed and a bunk bed with three bunks.
The main part of the log house  is an open concept with table and chairs, closet and cabinets to provide lots of space for your gear. The cabin has lots of windows on two sides for a  fantastic view of the Saint Elias Mountains and " King's Throne".
The kitchen area is separated by a counter and has a 2 burner propane stove. It comes with all the kitchen equipment like pots and pans, cutlery, and dishes.
There are propane lights (you won't need them in the summer) and water tanks, and a woodstove to heat up the cabin if need be. An outhouse serves as your bathroom facilities. An earth cooler keeps your perishables in top shape.
Next to the cabin is a campfire setup with seats and benches, and of course, lots of firewood for a nice evening outside.
