Log Cabin
2 at Kluane National Park

|
Location: |
The log cabin is located 200 km west of Whitehorse,
at the base of
the Saint Elias Mountains. Nestled among Spruce and
poplar trees, the cabin sits right across from "King's
Throne" at Kluane National Park,
with open meadows in the back and
old
trapper trails branching off from there.
The next village is Haines Junction, 30 km away. Here
you find facilities like gas stations, general store,
restaurants and more.
There is road access to the cabin.
Kathleen Lake in Kluane National Park is just a
20
minute walk away. This is a good starting point for several
different day
hikes.
There is also a number of bigger and smaller Lakes in the vicinity
like Dezadeash Lake, Lower Kathleen Lake and Rainbow Lake. |
